About the Shabbat Morning Minyan

If you haven't yet come to the Chavurah's Shabbat Morning Minyan, we invite you to give it a try this weekend.

Every Saturday morning, we meet around a conference table where:

** The mood, format and the dress are definitely casual (ties are forboden);

** The prayers are always transliterated (for the Hebraically-challenged);

** The community is welcoming (all Chavurah members and nonmembers, adults and children, the learned and the beginner, those raised in Jewish and non-Jewish homes, the believer and the agnostic, Democrats and even Republicans are invited); and

** The discussions are active.

Dennis Shulman leads this very user-friendly Minyan.

Each Saturday, Rabbi Dr. Shulman examines the week's Torah portion for what it can teach us today about ourselves, our tradition, and our relationship with others and the Divine.

Join us this Saturday morning and find out why twenty or thirty people get up early on Shabbat to be, sing, pray and study together.
